Core Word and Basic Communication Vocabularies

Proloquo2Go includes two vocabulary organizations that can be easily customized to meet the needs of individual users.

Core Word vocabulary is for users who can put words together into sentences utilizing the concepts of core and fringe vocabulary to arrange vocabulary that is used most frequently "closest" to the user while keeping less frequently used vocabulary farther away but still accessible with additional navigation.

Basic Communication vocabulary is for users who are at the early requesting stage of language development, and usually have not started to combine words to form longer messages.
