GhostReader is a multilingual speech solution for Mac OS X that allows you to listen to your documents with naturally sounding voices in a language of choice. Or use it to create your own personal podcasts or your own audio books by exporting to iPod ready iTunes tracks. Or just use it to speak selected text in a handy reader window with play, fast forward and rewind functionality. It even allows you to listen to text by just pointing your cursor at the text as you sit back and relax while GhostReader reads the text under the cursor.

Educational License Information

Educational licenses are available for GhostReader for internal educational use only and are available for a single language, bilingual and trilingual.

Classroom License -

This license permits use of the voices and generated audio files on up to 50 computers in a single classroom or mobile lab and up to 150 iPost or other playback devices.

This license includes a license for Infovox iVox and GhostReader for use on a single computer. This license permits the use of generated audio files on multiple iPods and other devices. If the software and computer on which it is installed is used a by a single teacher the audio files may be used by the teacher and the students on the devices used or owned by the teacher’s students. If the software and the computer on which it is installed is shared by multiple teachers use of generated audio files is limited to 50 playback devices. This license includes an educational publishing license.
