For Windows Systems:
The Windows products that are available for download are full function versions made available for demonstration, but are restricted in the following ways:
- Each program runs for twenty minutes then quits. However, the software can be started as many times as desired.
- Configuration changes are not saved between invocations.
- Words added to the word lists are not saved.

- To install, copy the compressed demonstration file to a new temporary directory and unzip it.
- Double-click the "Setup.exe" file and follow the instructions.
- Files unzipped to the temporary directory may be erased after installation.
For Macintosh Systems:
The Mac software products that are available for download are full function versions. You can download the Mac products for both demonstration and as software upgrades. The software is key activated. When you download the software it comes with an integrated key that is time limited to 15 non-consecutive days (except Infovox iVox which is valid for 30 days). Demonstration copies can be upgraded to full licenses with an activation key that is provided upon purchase. If you are upgrading from a prior version, you need to download the product and re-activate it with the activation key that was provided when you originally purchased the software product.

**IMPORTANT SNOW LEOPARD NOTICE** Infovox iVox 2.0 is fully compatible with Mac OS X 10.6 "Snow Leopard". The old version, Infovox iVox 1.3, is not compatible with Snow Leopard. Infovox iVox 2.0 is offered as a free update in order to facilitate the migration to Snow Leopard for those people who rely on these natural sounding voices to use their computer. Caution: Do not mix Infovox iVox 1.3 and 2.0 voices.

Updating from iVox 1.0, 1.1, 1.2 or 1.3:
- Because there were major changes to the voice files, it was not possible to create a small updater application. After downloading, run the installer to update Infovox iVox. If you use multiple languages you need to follow this procedure for each language.
